The media never stated that the derogatory information found on the laptop was disinformation, but rather the attempts to link it to Joe Biden was. This is an FBI issue, not a media one.

I read the editorial. It never said what was wrong with the affadavit. Just that they thought it was a joke. Perhaps you could explain why you believe the affadavit was a joke.
I have nothing against FBI and others held to account if they mismanaged or withheld Hunter Biden information. I have no interest in protecting the Biden name. It’s telling though how many care more about that and downplay or dismiss that the former President was literally holding classified documents with information that could endanger US security unsecured at a resort. That he and his lawyers lied to investigators about how long and how much he held that material.
