I never said they were unique to them. I said the term soul food was created by black people. If I go to Lubys or Cracker Barrel and have fried chicken, greens, and black eyed peas nobody calls that soul food. Pat Boone can sing a James Brown song but that's not soul music.

I married one. Admittedly that doesn't mean i know everything about Hispanics but i can say with 100% certainty Hispanics don't eat greens like blacks and southern whites. Do you think they do?

I really didn't like Cometswin. I apologize to everyone for my foul language in this thread and others. As much as I didn't like him reading my responses to him in this thread is embarrassing. I opened this thread because I remembered having a disagreement with someone about some stupid point and I when I saw how I responded to him like I said it's embarrassing. If Cometswin has passed I'm sorry but really my attitude is we're all gonna die one day about everyone I don't have a personal relationship with.. That being said when speculation about what has happened to him began I am just being honest that I still thought about how he went out of his way to be a jerk to people he disagreed with. It may not be reflected in this thread but he he just couldn't simply disagree. Unfortunately I let that baggage make me be a jerk and I'm guilty of the same behavior often. That's the lesson I'll take away hopefully to heart. We're all gonna die one day. None of this stuff is important enough to be an ass to random people Edit: I have tremendous respect for you as a poster as I've never seen you get personal. Some of the most respected members of the forum you can't say that about.
