That traitor deserves life behind bars. That shouldn't be too many years actually. Probably 10 max before he kicks the bucket.
at this point the best thing for the country would be if he just died peacefully in his sleep. he should spend the rest of his life in jail, but his cult will absolutely burn this country and our government down.
That is a legitimate fear. I think the risk are very high of something even worse than Jan. 6th if Trump is indicted, tried and convicted. In the interest of Justice and Constitutional principles he should still be. Even if he is convicted I don’t believe he will see the inside of a jail cell. I suspect he will be sentenced to probation, house arrest and a stipulation that he cannot run for office again.
Even if they had him on video tape giving Putin the locations of our assets, his cult would still say it’s just the deep state and google tricking us.
If Trump sold out US informants, he's a traitor. Dude needs to go to prison for what he has done. There's no reason that classified documents with the names of US informants should be in his possession. Especially given that informants have been being killed at an alarming rate the last year.

This has been my idea as well ... but ... Trump under house arrest may not be tenable. Trump's ego will demand him to post to Truth Social/Twitter via surrogates. And he will certainly will want to fund raise as well. WRT running for President in 2024, some of the laws he broke, if found guilty, will prevent him from holding national office. Outside of that, I don't see how you stop Trump from running.
Yes he very well would probably be doing stuff like that if under house arrest. I don’t think though the prospect of a former President actually sitting in federal jail is one that the DOJ wants. A friend of mine had this idea that we should exile Trump to some place like Diego Garcia and treat him like Europe treated Napoleon after Waterloo.
I can't imagine any lawyer stupid enough to represent Trump. He cant pay the bills and he sure as hell can't win. His time is ticking as a free man. Who knows what Putin and the rest were given by that traitor.

One of the strangest things I have ever seen is how much people wish and desire for Trump's death. Its crazy to think how animalistic people turn off of propaganda. Well "he is corrupt" they say. But none of the corrupt politicians currently in office get the same type of reaction. Biden, Pelosi, Lori Lightfoot, Newsom, The Clintons and tons of Republicans as well... All corrupt, but no one gives a damn. They don't wish any of them dead other than Trump. Its extremely disturbing seeing some of ya'll casually describe how he should die. Trump was great in office, its not even like he left people in this country financially broken to the point of a recession. That was actually Biden. But Trump was great, so what gives? I don't like Biden, I hope he gets better as a President because that benefits this country and I. Ya tis true. I wouldn't mourn Trump dying. It's one of the few things that scares me about myself that I genuinely would not feel empathy if he died. Maybe it helps that I don't think anyone would be emotionally depressed like a child or wife if he did pass.
In regards to trends that show a lack of empathy there concern you, do you feel uncomfortable when people label human who are just migrating to find work and are completely non violent as an "invading force"?
