    Right hand discomfort. Playing through it isn't working. 678 OPS in the last 15 days. SLG is way down. OBP down less. Rest in August might help.

    From what they've insinuated, I think they will all either be bullpened for one rotation or skipped a turn over the next 5 weeks. I'm sure they've had a pitcher meeting to review the plan. 2021 Lance wasn't overrated. Losing him was a big reason why we lost the WS. He dominanted his 2 ALDS games before getting hurt.

    this is who Alverez is until rest or surgery for hand. Hand surgery seems to also zap power from player for a year. Is what it is.

    Maybe put Alverez on IL for 10 days just before playoffs plus time off before playoff games start.

    Problem with that is hurt his timing.

    It just feels like despite the record this Astros team isn't as fun to watch as the 17-19 teams. They can frustrate the hell out of you.

    The offense is too fickle and we have a rookie at SS. The pitching has been great but its starting to crack also. At some point the bats need to produce more consistently. They just can’t do it though because we have too many holes in the lineup.
