Like I said, this current court doesn't make sense with their rulings, so I won't. Yes, you implied Biden was a dictator-like or a dictator.
2.surrender or yield (something that one possesses). "to concede all the territory he'd won" That's from google. I think we can all agree that Trump conceded his office.
You guys think that it's possible to acknowledge a transition of power without acknowledging losing the election. Frankly, that's just poor critical thinking. Actions speak louder than words, right?
No. It may be poor writing on your part since the context was Biden, his loan forgiveness, and whether he was allowed to do it. You then started in with dictators.
Yes, actions do speak louder than words. Trump's actions indicate he didn't concede. His words indicate he didn't concede. Saying Biden would take over isn't conceding he lost, especially while saying the election was stolen and that he won on a landslide. https://www.cnn.com/2021/01/07/politics/trump-history-comments-trnd/index.html Please look at the date for that. That is refusing to concede.
He literally talked about a smooth transition of power. And President Biden is currently the President of the United States. Sure seems like a Trump concession. There are plenty of headlines that would support this opinion as well.
Conceding implies you accept the results of an election. If you claim that millions upon millions votes are fake and sincerely believe it which implies our democratic system is over and you are on your ass in front of a computer screen and not literally taking up arms now that means either: 1. You don't sincerely believe those claims 2. You are a unpatriotic p***y letting democracy die by not doing the exact thing the second amendment was implemented for. So for Trump who still claims that our democracy is over is only one of those two options.
Do you think if he was in a country with fewer checks, fewer "deep state" institutions where it's nearly impossible for a single man to convince the "monopoly on violence"(military, law enforcement) arm of the government to go along with their plans to overthrow the government, he would allow a transition of power? Do you sincerely believe he would allow a transition of power if he was a president of developing country after he just lost an election? To overthrow a government and install dictatorial rule in the US you have to do one thing: Convince the generals. And good luck with that. Most higher up military officers despise everything Trump represents.
I care about Trump's action. He and his team literally concocted a plan where if the certification could be delayed, he could send the vote to congress where they would vote on the President elect rather than counting the votes of the people. And it would work because the vote would be by state rather than each congressional member. They planned this after losing the election. It was why Trump wanted his supporters at the capitol. The votes were delayed. They weren't made official until after 3 in the morning January 7th. Those were Trump's actions and I already pasted his actual words. Neither his actions nor his words were consistent with conceding the election. If I say something has been stolen, I'm saying that I don't have it anymore and that it is now in the hands of someone else. I didn't concede that I lost it.
I very clearly stated that Biden wasn't a dictator and that a single dictatorial action doesn't turn a President into a dictator. My writing is fine. At best, you can argue that I made an implication, but since I very clearly stated that Biden wasn't a dictator, the implication lost merit. So, yeah.....please work on your reading comprehension.
