    Reminded me of the time the guy at the Apple Store told me that Macs couldn't get viruses.

    17 pallets!!!! F@ck these pieces of $hit!

    I wish they would explain their role in the ring, I bet they were probably the scrap yard owners. Really hoping local and Federal authorities implement some type of law for the middle men to be responsible just as much as the thieves doing the cutting

    I had my catalytic converters stolen in February 2022 and because I wanted OEM (new truck still under warranty), I didn't get my truck back from the shop until July 2022. I was lucky to have a spare car, because insurance would only cover my rental for 30 days.

    They're charged with organized crime probably under RICO.

    @Nook can probably elaborate

    I finally broke down and ordered cat protector plates for my Tundra. The horror stories of people unable to drive their Tundra for 6 months just made me decide I'd rather be safer than sorry.

    I purchased from Valhalla's Shield as they had great reviews on the Tundra forum and make a front and rear cat protector for the 4 cats installed on the truck. I dont expect them to be delivered for at least a few more weeks as I had them powder coated TRD red so it will look pretty underneath when doing oil changes.

    I ordered mine from Valhalla’s middle of July as soon as I got my truck back from the shop. As of today, it's still on back order. It's now been 6 weeks and Tyler, the guy the runs it, says a few more weeks

    Can’t tell from the information known but it is quite possible. There is a lot of money to be made doing it.

    While ir sucks, I find it funny a lot of people shrug off sex slavery and drug lords that murder people… but the guys trafficking in rare metals from catalytic converters are the absolute scum of the earth.

    A man will stand for a lot of things. But his truck being in the shop for six months? That's a deal breaker, yes, sir.

    I don't know if it's just me, and this probably reflects my general ignorance when it comes to car stuff, but whenever I see or hear "catalytic converter" for some reason I always think of something science fiction-y, like "flux capacitor" or something from Star Trek,

    My friend doctor has a tundra and they just chase after it like a dog on heat. He has a video of him chasing the scums off the parking lot of an ER. They get dropped and their gettaway driver is always nearby.
