Maybe because they want Javier to pitch more in the postseason, so they moved him to pen and this is a way for him to re-adjust. Garcia should move to pen first to be honest so he can start getting use to it, he shouldn't be starting in the playoffs.
I really hope this is some plan to possibly give him rest, or I don’t even know. I want Javier as a starter in the playoffs. JV, Lance, Valdez, Javier should be our 1-4. My opinion though so it doesn’t matter much. I can’t read the article since I’m not a member, so if they say the reason please let me know! (If someone is a member here.)
