a daily reminder to alpi doubters and 3 pt worshippers alpi shot greater % on 3s last year than Jimmy Butler, a 'paint clogging' shooting guard, arguably MVP of EC playoffs, who came 1 shot away from the finals the reality is more fluid then we imagine...and its getting even more fluid as we speak...
Good lord man. We all love Alpi, but this obsession is a bad look. When Sengun is a multilevel lockdown defender or has hit multiple game winners in the playoffs, maybe compare him to Butler? “Player X is also bad at something, and he is valuable, so it’s OK if my favorite player is bad at that thing” is not the strongest argument. I cannot wait for the season to start so we can switch from random repeated attacks on strawman arguments to random repeated blaming of Silas. At least it will be something new.
Things getting serious : Alpi against Porzingis&Bertans. World Cup Qualification game, Thursday, 25, 17:30 hrs GMT. We might see 30 minutes playing time for Alpi (Cedi and Korkmaz might be around 33-35 minutes) in a 40 minutes game. Porzingis&Bertans against Alpi&Sanli worth to watching. Anyone can watch through NTV live in YouTube.
Good lord man I dont even care if you love alpi or not and my point wasnt even about the alpi at all... in fact I always discuss the principles not the personas...all the names are just periferal and incidental to the discussion you missed the beautiful diamond i offered you and chose to react with hate and throwing around a lot of dust to cover what i brought to light ...keep worshipping the good looks, 3 point shooting and your prejudices....
What is this supposed to mean? It is gibberish. Is your “beautiful diamond” saying that somehow a player who is nothing like Sengun succeeds without a three point shot and therefore is doesn’t matter if Sengun does? That is a ridiculous argument to make once, much less repeat ad nauseam. I don’t worship Butler, any player, or any skill set. I really like Sengun and hope he succeeds. I assume you do as well, but it hard to see through your hysterics. Or perhaps it is trolling. Neither is worth our time. PS. “Peripheral”
Porzingis looked like a prime Hakeem with a 3pt shot. 6 blocks. Absolutely wiped the floor with the Turks.
8 points (2/8 FG, 0/1 3PT, 4/6 FT), 1 rebound, 3 fouls and 4 turnovers and a +- of -28... in 14 minutes of play time.
Interesting I didn't know they had box scores anywhere, but yeah the biggest thing that stuck out to me is I thought he only made one shot (apparently I missed one), and also that he had 0 assists the whole game. And they lost by 30. He just looked horrible, missed everything, constant turnovers, poor decision making, just bad all around.
