When fat and out of shape Albert Haynesworth fell on him. Cost us our best shot at a super bowl.

OKC has had a bunch of bad luck.. I hope it continues. I feel bad for Chet though. I liked his swag.

Just want to use this thread to say that I broke my foot & ankle while running a few weeks ago after rolling my ankle on the pavement.

No serious ligament or tendon damage though.

Chet if you're reading, call me up. We're basically the same. Though, I'll be running again by November, hopefully.

I hate that Chet got injured he was good enough to make OKC a very good team.

What’s the league gonna do without the best player missing the entire season?

This is why I don't like Chet. I'll even go for Ivey if he slipped to 3 for the Rockets. His built vs his type of game is too injury prone for me. I bet they're wishing now that they drafted Jabari instead.

It's either the bones or the ligaments give way. Without the muscle for support, his type of game isn't sustainable. That's why I think there's a lot of comments regarding his body especially with his legs. There's too few muscles in there.

Long term prognosis is that this guy is likely incredibly injury prone.

This sucks. I don't care which team Chet plays for. I hope he recovers and we can see him do his thing.

one time accidents happen. That doesn't mean injury prone. Only time will tell in that regard so the 'prophets' patting themselves on the back need to relax for a while and be patient

People observed lot of condensation at Crawford's Seattle tournament. And yes Tari should get his butt out of there.

Most NBA player goes through some type of injuries. Paolo had a small one in summer league. Ivey and Sharpe also got sidelined. This is Chet's first big one.

On the bullet dodge thing, Chet never fell to #3, so he was not someone that Rockets could choose anyhow. As far as decisions within Rockets control Jabari / Keegan / Ivey ...

I hope that none of our rookies go through this. Also hope Garuba to have a healthy season to show what he has (or don't have), instead of us keep wondering what-if.

The accident in this case was he jumped on a routine basketball play.

I feel bad, but I am not going to lie, I was breathing sighs of relief, as I was always team Chet on the Rockets.

Wemby, however, I always felt he was a little too injury prone for me.

    Team Scoot here.

Maybe this is standard practice for surgeries, but consulting 3 foot specialist seems to imply they were seeking a lot of 2nd opinions, which would also imply the injury is quite severe.
