Least surprising injury in awhile, but hope it's not major and he can still play this season. Was looking forward to watching him.

Ligament damage isn't what you are normally concerned with for the tall guys. While everybody is gonna jump on "so predictable" bandwagon, this was more likely a regular injury that could happen to anybody. Coming in a jank ass pro am no less.

Bad knees and bone issues are the usual tall guy problems.

welp this will be another unfortunate lesson for guys playing in meaningless pick up games, that sometimes it just isn't worth it

"It can take a year or more to return to exercise such as running" to me that reads like he might not even be able to play at the beginning of next season since basketball involves so much more than running. Or am i reading too much into it?

After reading more of the article this sounds awfully serious..

OKC tryna have both the '23-'24 RotY and runner-up on the same team, lmao.

Chet / Wemby / Poku? OKC is the land of the lanky.

Everyone's body is different, but Chet has the power of youth and the entire NBA network of healthcare behind him, so I think his recovery will be fast. "A year or more" really only applies to us regular folk.

Worst case scenario. He’ll never be able to add weight because of this.

Some GMs must have Scoot as their number 1 for the next draft at this point. Wemby is just as scrawny (maybe even scrawnier) than Chet. That's gotta be a red flag at this point.

What are the odds that this never showed up in college? I guess part of the answer would involve minutes played and how long he stayed in school (one year).

Poor, poor dude. Hope he took some of his classes seriously, b/c b-ball may not work out for him.

They should just rename the injury to "Schaubie" So and so suffered a Schaubie.
The first thing I think about when I hear the LisFranc is Schaub and that 2011 season
