I am boomer or? Also you know the month of August is weak for movies when dragon ball super is #1 at the box office.
used to be when i was younger. but now that i'm 13, a certified adult, i prefer live action. thanks marvel
haha, same. It just puts me to sleep. I’d rather watch baseball if that was the case. Anime or baseball, which do I want to fall asleep faster?
I've only watched one anime, Attack on Titan..... I like it, it be better with an animated Chris Pratt but even then I recommend it.
Its actually pretty good.. I was hesitant at first, just don't tell nobody bro... Keep it to yourself you watching an anime and you be good....
I remember I used to sneak downstairs and watch Inuyasha after my parents fell asleep. But I only did that maybe 20 times. Not enough to have real anime fan street cred. I'm a fraud.
Why did you have to sneak? How old are you? I did not realize Inuyasha 1st aired in the U.S. about 20 years ago, yikes i'm old. I need to actually finish this I don't think I did and their is a new spinoff airing on Adult swim not bad it captures a lot of the original with the daughters of Shoshomaru and Inuyasha.
Probably a weak month for movies, but the stigma around watching and enjoying anime has definitely lessened as its become more mainstream.
I just don't understand who anime is targeted to. They have things like slavery, rape, and false rape accusations in the same show as cutesy bird creatures that turn into fairy princesses (Rise of the Shield Hero). Part of it seems very adult oriented, but then part of it would only appeal to an elementary age student. Just seems weird. Something like Rick and Morty or Harley Quinn seems like it has a much clearer target audience.
A little something for everyone. Perfect for the family. Both Mom and Dad and the kiddos can enjoy it!
My daughter learned Japanese so she could read and listen to Anime in the original. She asked for the Rosetta Stone software as a teenager, so we bought her the whole series for Japanese. I expected her to get tired of making the attempt, figuring we'd regret the purchase, and I was wrong. Not only did she plow through the whole thing, she kept at it after she finished, took Japanese at the university she went to as her language requirement and breezed through it. It was fun for her. Majored in computer engineering and computer science and graduated with degrees in both in 4 years. She posts with fellow anime fans in Japan online. Yes, I'm very proud of her. She's quite something. Can't say I understand Anime, but clearly it's appealing to a large audience.
