The FBI is made up of people that are both democrats and republicans and even some that are apolitical. People that work for the FBI always have been entitled to their own political views, it’s even in their terms/guidelines. There were and are people in the FBI that disliked Hillary Clinton when Comey made the decision to release her emails. There were some democrats that pointed out that Comey was a Bush appointee and a Republican. There are and we’re people that disliked Trump in the FBI. Having said that no investigation has found systemic bias against Trump. Indeed the Director of the FBI is a Republican that was appointed by Trump. The organization has long been apolitical and if it has shown any real emphasis it has been against extremists. It is cute for some to claim this is all an elaborate ruse by the FBI. So after 100 years of existing the FBI, for the first time decided to take down the President they helped indirectly get elected, and is headed by the man that Trump handed picked? It makes no sense.
I don’t even think this is an elaborate ruse by the FBI but the investigative track record is less then stellar against Trump unfortunately when you consider the Russian collusion case and the misinformation that supported that combined with instances of lying by a deputy director (McCabe) - terminations of no less than 4 agents including the deputy director : McCabe, strzock, page and clinesmith…3 for negligent behavior out of bounds and 1 for a actual criminal conduct… 4 freaking agents with destroyed careers over the investigation of one person?!? - please tell me where else have we seen this? It would be fair to say it’s unprecedented at the least …do I think there is a concerted ruse? No but I can’t say the FBI did well …not when 4 agents at least had careers destroyed in the pursuit of trump . I can also further say I lost trust in the FBI and I’m not alone …maybe it’s time to break up the FBI as it’s constructed is my contention 4 agents with rightfully destroyed careers in the pursuit of 1 individual…yes that does NOT make sense indeed
As long as you hear the cries of people who want to defund law enforcement in general around the country because they experience heavy right wing bias and bias towards poor minorities. I understand your billionaire orange savior is being persecuted. But he isn't the only one.
Yes it’s strained at best. I will continue to repeat that it’s impossible to root out all human biases. It is possible there are FBI agents very biased against Trump and there was many reports of them being biased against Clinton. What matters though is if proper procedure and due process was followed. If anything the pursuit of the warrant appears to not only have followed due process but even deference towards Trump that no other suspect would get.
