Imagine how much **** they got away with before cameras. ****ing scum bags. I hope that over time we filter out these scumbags that don't deserve the power that comes with having a badge. **** those mother****ers. Bunch of ****ing cowards beating on someone that already appears to be under control. Only reason I can even excuse this is if prior to the situation getting to this point the suspect was shooting at these mother****ers.
I always want to hear the full story and history before jumping to conclusions but I will say this video looks really bad.
Not really sure what conclusions could ever justify punching a guy in the head 13 times when he's lying on the ground, kneeing him in the head, and lifting his head and slamming it back down on the concrete while two other cops help hold him down with you. That's enough brutality to give someone brain damage.
I said it doesn’t look good, but will listen to what their justification is, if there is any. The only justification I can think of would be if the suspect had a gun pulled on them and they were trying to frantically incapacitate him. However I see no evidence to support that being the case. It doesn’t look good for the officers.
I just watched the video and it does look very bad. I think that once he’s down on the ground and the LEO picks up his head and smashes it does seem very excessive. I too would like to hear some more than just rely on a few seconds of video.
I don't get why cops have to use such excessive force when there is no need to, its an ego thing I guess. I don't trust cops in general, I know there are some good ones but the majority I have faced have not been the "good one`s" They always seem to have chip on there shoulder and that badge gives them liquid courage
a lot of them have no morals and no soul…hell has to exist, because ain’t no way u can abuse people like this, eventually pass away, and then that’s it beating someone down like this when he’s subdued…it’s despicable they beat him like he just killed a family member
Yeah, I'll wait for the story but I'm casting about for any scenario that can possibly justify that and coming up empty. Even if he just killed a cop and still has a gun in his hand, they have him down already and should be cuffing him, not beating him.
A year plus after calls to Defund the Police. Status Quo still feels Great... I still think we need numbers and metrics underpinning reform, but the idea of ******** down one unpopular option means No Option wins is why our country is feeling stagnant and paralyzed.
I didn't notice the cop in the back kneeing him over and over and over until I watched it again. I was too focused on the one punching him in the face over and over and over.
It just doesn't make any sense for them to beat on him like that they are supposed to up hold the law not break it .
The video on here explains it... sorta. https://www.4029tv.com/article/law-enforcement-officers-suspended-arrest-sunday-morning/40950947 Looks like he threatened to knife the store owner and cut her face then spit on her or something. Police are saying he got up to attack them or something. Still uncalled for from the looks of it since they had the dude pinned down. It's kind of scary since I go up to those towns mentioned throughout the year. That area's beautiful and has damn good fried catfish (lol). I haven't been up there in a couple of years, though. Lots of friendly people up there mixed with lots of jackasses, too. Some of it is like an area that doesn't want to evolve... if ya know what I mean. I still would love to move up NW of there, though, to the Fayetteville/Bentonville area.
