This is true, and we are not playing good baseball right now and haven't been in a long time. I hope it's just the dog days, but there is a lot of difference between Us and the Braves. a LOT... And if it's a close game, we are at a huge disadvantage in the managerial position. THAT shows up in the playoffs.

Dusty is just a bad decision-maker in these type of close games. Over a season, he's solid but he'll always pull up short in these situations in the close, huge moments.
You can't blame the shift unless they were playing out of position from what the percentages indicated to line up for. In that case where they got hits assuming we were shifted correctly...then they just got lucky. We lost on the roulette wheel that time with the weak-ass double.
Yordan is the best hitter in the game if you take Judge off the juice.... Don't think that isn't a huge impact...

It’s baseball, Yankees, Astros don’t look great right now. Braves, Dodgers look incredible. But that doesn’t mean it will be like that in 7 weeks. Astros just need to get hot at the right time.

Letting the calm sink in: We NEED Yordan. Point blank period. Management needs to take a long hard look at the relievers. This ain’t gonna cut it come playoff time. Take a long hard look at Brown and Martinez in triple A. Find a way to have these 9 in the lineup at all times: Altuve Bregman Alvarez Tucker Mancini Peña Yuli McCormick Vazquez/Maldy I don’t care what you have to do but you gotta have those starting at all times. All this talk throughout the season of our bullpen being elite is cute but come playoff time we’re not playing all of the MLB, we’re playing legit teams. High leverage situations. We need dependable relief pitching.
