There’s no such thing as locking up every single good player. Having a ton of good players is a testament to your organization but a team can’t keep them all in the long term. It doesn’t have anything to do about loyalty but it’s the reality of the business of the game
I think the NBA suffers the most from this which is why it has fallen to my #3 favorite sport There has to be a middle ground though. I think Minor League Players should be making more.
