Well they do now make the K-zone standard on every game. Wasn't that long ago it was only on a few games. I'm sure the actual metrics were far worse in previous years where some strikes had to pass the "eye" test, or the ump simply had their own zone that they stayed consistent with (even if it was off). They'll eventually get there... then much like replay or how the lines are called in tennis, everybody will wonder WTF took them so long?
Tennis never takes a long time. It's a quick video if any part of the ball hits the line and its done we can only wish this would be the case for baseball. I don't see it happening that way though
