Looks even more fluid in the post. One can see his work with Dream on the court. We are so lucky he is a Rocket. Good things are happening.
At some point, I'd like to see him come off that spin move and finish above the rim, rather than spin and rely on the head fake. You can see at the 1-minute mark that the Georgian defender pushes him and tries to pin Sengun under the rim. Sengun's instinct is to use a head fake and gather himself. But that leads to a tough finish through contact. As he keeps working and getting stronger, Sengun can absorb more of that push, stay balanced, and fluidly go up for the finish above the rim. These early games show tons of growth. Hopefully, Turkey will win a few games here. That would lead to a nice matchup with Serbia and Jokic.
Oh boy that little shoulder shrug in the post at the end there. Look how far it displaces the defender. Already adding tricks to his bag. I LOVE it. It's amazing how this dude is 20. Not even a sophomore in the League yet. And already has better vision than most players - including guards. And the only big man who has comparable vision is a 2-time MVP.
all he needs is playing time...if silas is gonna be benchin him again i would prefer he gets traded or sent to g league to play full games...
He looks like he's moving better and in shape. He's getting some sun as well. Hopefully, we have guys cutting to the basket like his Turkish teammates. KMJ was prime dude for him last year and he may be gone (if he gets his wish).
Plus he's a better passer and draws way more free throws. And he can't shoot nearly as well as Scola yet.
