Good lord.... here we go again. Please stop it with the right wing propaganda "Phony Steele Dossier"... okay Trump. A few points: -The Mueller report clearly laid out multiple cases of clear obstruction of justice. They did not indict Trump for obstruction, but they clearly laid out that he committed these acts. They didn't give reasons for not indicting, but they should have. The obvious answer is that they clearly were issuing this report as an impeachment referral to Congress giving the constitutional question about indicting a sitting president, and the DOJ policy which was written during the Nixon era to be clear about what was to happen when Spiro Agnew was indicted as a sitting VP. The framers gave Congress impeachment powers for a reason, and that was the route that should have been taken here instead of issuing a report that laid out crimes, and then didn't actually tell Congress or the American people what should be done about it. It's obvious... impeachement is the clear answer, but Mueller lacked the spine I guess. -The Steele Dossier was a collection of intelligence it was NOT a public indictment. The intelligence gathering started by Marco Rubio's campaign, and picked up from Hillary's. Lindsay Graham and John McCain gave the report to James Comey, and the top FBI officials. There are also numerous intelligence points made here that WERE PROVEN AS FACT. Such as this: https://www.cnn.com/2018/12/18/politics/trump-signed-letter-of-intent-rudy-giuliani-moscow This is just one smart part of a larger gathering of data to show that Trump was 100% a liability for the United States as President given his dealings and ties to Russia among other countries. Let me ask you a question: in 2007 it's reported that Barrack Obama has a letter of intent with the Iranian government to sell community organizing franchises in Iran.... based on that alone, do you think that would have been an issue you would want to know about and would deter you from thinking he's qualified to be an American President when he'd have foreign policy leverage held against him potentially by a foreign adversary??? So please.... for the last time... STOP SPREADING LIES about Trump/Russia. I understand you believe it's a nothingburger and don't care, but a lie is still a lie, and people aren't going to avoid calling you a liar no matter how many times you lie.
1. People being friends doesn't mean they can't do their job. If you have any evidence at all that a friendship changed the way the investigation was conducted and that it was unprofessional please provide it. Otherwise you are just spitting your random bbs guesses based on nothing. 2. You don't understand what an intelligence dossier actually is. 3. I watched the hearings in their entirety. Unlike you, I also actually read the whole report as well. 4. You have been corrected multiple times in this thread for having the wrong information. Many others share your misinformation. I would love to know from where it originates. Please provide the sources where you are getting this (mis)information.
No minds are going to be changed. Forget about Trump the person for a moment. Is your quality of life better with the Biden tax/inflationary style of government, where the government is going to hire 85 thousand more IRS agents or was it better under the economic policies Trump had in place and would the money spent on those 85,000 agents be better spent on border patrol agents to help control what's currently going on down at the border. Do you have a problem with Abbott shipping illegals to New York? The reason I'm asking these questions is I'm trying to see what your view of what the role of the federal government should be in our lives and this has nothing to do with Trump the person, only his policies and whether you think we as a country should have borders at all.
So there is some misinformation in your post. Where are you getting this misinformation from? 1. 85,000 new agents isn't exactly accurate. The budget is over 10 years. The IRS has been cut in recent years, they lose agents each year and know that they will be losing more agents. You can read more here. https://www.statesman.com/story/new...bout-an-army-of-87000-irs-agents/65401671007/ 2. I believe that any illegal immigrants that are captured go back to Mexico. Those being sent to NY are those immigrants seeking asylum which is 100% legal. As far as hiring more Border Patrol agents, I'm not opposed. But would be most effective would be hiring officials and personnel to process those seeking asylum. Then, the few that are granted asylum could be free to choose where they want to go. The vast majority that won't be granted asylum can be moved out of the United States. Sadly Republicans have cut the amount and refused proposals to increase the personnel that would expedite the migrant reviews and remove most of those currently being shipped to NY. In addition let's simplify the process for people seeking green cards and citizenship in order to reduce the amount of illegal immigrants.
Literally no. The ROI on tax enforcement is something like 10x. The ROI on a militarized border is unknown but probably negative, considering that immigration is a net positive economically. I mean even if you are the kind of incel wackjob who wants tanks shooting pregnant migrants at the border as a solution to all of your regrets in life- where the hell do you think the money to do that comes from? The Internal Revenue Service.
Mueller isn’t a judge or jury so he’s not going to say that Trump was guilty but it’s right there in the snippet that he is agreeing with Lieu that obstruction of justice and other crimes occurred.
I said this many times before but Trump has lucked out that many of those how investigated him were exceedingly cautious and professional in their jobs. Mueller and now Garland have always been very cautious and not wanting to exceed their purview. Even so Mueller In his hearings did say there was. congressional remedy. For those who don’t know what that meant it was impeachment . He also agreed that a former President could be indicted.
Or keep them from coming here to begin with unless they can provide this country a needed skill. Dar to many move here and live off of the system. It's been estimated that a million illegals have crossed the border illegally. This includes got aways. You' ve got drug smugglers/gang members/human trafficking and all kinds of sexual assault/rape going on among these people. Do you care about this? Where does this all end? I believe it ends with us becoming as bad off as the rest of the world. American exceptionalism is dead.
I care about all crimes. Legal immigrant communities have lower crime rates than others. Illegal immigrants worse than legal immigrants but not worse than others. Do you care about that? Just having a skill doesn't change asylum seekers. Having more personnel would, though. Trump and Republicans have been proactive in reducing that personnel or denying funding for hiring them.
Requiring E-Verify and making the punishments for employers that hire undocumented employees stiffer would actually improve the border situation. why haven’t any of your heroes that claim to want to secure the border do that @raining threes ? The answer, they don’t care to fix the issue. They only want to campaign on it and know their base won’t actually hold them accountable.
