He's not responsible for the pitching staff or lack of one...but again it's the Rangers

Dusty has now outlasted all the other managers in the division during his time with the Astros (Melvin went to SD).
EDIT: Wait, I forgot about Servais.

“Well, Seager is pretty good but so are the rest of the guys. I like playing Jon Gray at SS when Otto is pitching because as a pitcher playing SS he understands what Otto is trying to accomplish out there on the mound. Otto feels supported”

We may have a completely new slate of managers in the AL West next year...

now that's a huge blow for the Dodgers. and kershaw isn't exactly healthy either. If it's TJ, he won't be playing next year either

big blow for their postseason pitching experience and depth

Interested to see if or how much the betting odds change for them.

probably not because the dodgers offensive lineup has just been on fire and they can get away with just some sub par pitching in the regular season. but their rotation probably won't show its head until their lineup doesn't produce every night. The mets/braves have the elite pitching depth to match up with the Dodgers and make it difficult for their hitters

Its amazing that they’ve been this good at convincing their young guys to give up FA years at a premium discount.

Imagine the same thing the Astros did with Jose Altuve… before they knew he was a MVP candidate.. but x 3-4.

Maybe they have the ultimate sweeteners, or wink-wink deals in Georgia. Something is up…

The Ozzie Albies extension will always go down as one of the most baffling deals I have ever seen.

I generally am in complete agreement when a player decides to secure the bag, but I damn near would have wanted to quit if I were his agent.
