I didn't ignore any of those things (although many I really don't care about, like having sex with p*rn stars) and I didn't vote for him. I was clearly making a joke, hence the emojis. The fact is that he was technically not convicted (and you are again wrong, none of those were convictions) but it doesn't matter that they are civil penalties instead of convictions. Trump is a clown and a scumbag. He always has been. It was a sad farce that he was ever nominated (and I blame the media for propping him up) and that anyone voted for him. I've already told you before, I don't care about a safe society. I want a free society. The federal government can be cut by about 99%. You don't understand libertarianism if you think libertarians want a safe society but don't want to pay for it. We don't want any of the things that you think make a safe society. It isn't being obtuse, the key factor that makes someone a terrorist is killing innocent people. Saying some politician you don't like is a terrorist and they only difference between them and McVeigh is the body count is ignoring the fact that the body count is the most important part.
He made a statement about ideology. And I don’t agree that body count is necessarily the most important thing either. Two people can share the same ideology and be equally supportive of terrorism as a means to political ends, and be equally active in promoting that belief system to others, even if only one of them has the stomach to actually go through with killing someone. There is at least one poster on this forum who has openly declared approval of killing government officials, casting them as enemies of the state who deserve death. There are many people who think like him — they can be easily found on Trump or alt-right forums. Does that make him a terrorist? No, but the sentiment he expresses is indicative of the same fanaticism that could drive a person to murder. We can’t turn a blind eye to that like it’s not a huge problem and act like only body count matters. If you’re waiting until people are dying then you are too late.
I must have missed a post where he said he’d approve of him being murdered, extra-judicially. We may find it tasteless to openly wish someone passes away, or to look forward to them being found guilty of treason in a court of law and being executed, but that is significantly different from what I’m talking about. Edit: I see I did use the word “killing”, which could apply to a procedural execution by the state, so I suppose you are technically right.
I am happy the rule of law is prevailing and I am excited that Jan 6th can also out all those that committed treason by helping plan it or show the enemy combatants around the capital the day before. Get rid of all of them. DD
So we have a judge getting death threats. A wacko who attempted to shoot up am FBI office in Ohio and more wackos with guns outside a Phoenix FBI office. And the usual Republicans are doubling down on their dangerous rhetoric.
Trump set the precedent here. if the opposing party in Congress investigates the President's Administration, the President orders all in his Administration to not even appear before Congress.
The state of the Republican Party today: 1. Republicans are sore losers that are unable to accept defeat at the polls. 2. They turn to con artists, conspiracy theorists, and right wing media to be told what they want to hear. 3. They work to elect election deniers at the state level in order to control and intervene in future elections. 4. They buy guns and prepare for civil war. 5. Unlikely many Republicans will ever change their viewpoints. They are terrified of losing control of “their” country.
Those kind of people can be found on far left forums as well. In fact, violence against conservative has been advocated by Democratic Senators and Congressmen. The DOJ condones violence against the Supreme Court by electing to not abide by the nations laws. It’s disingenuous to brand all Republicans as crazies while giving free pass to the kaos being created by the Marxist left. Trump did indeed fuel the acrimonious nature of our current political environment, but no more than the likes of AOC, Walters, Schumer and the radical left.
Lindsey Graham breaks the law and lies about it. It is just staggering how many GOP members think they are above the law. DD
Has he ever referenced being gay or not. Why he doesn’t have a family? A self loathing individual has rarely been more transparent than him.
