Taylor, Martinez, Brown, Smith, whoever's best. Having a good LHRP is a good thing. Having a LHRP just to have a LHRP is not so good.
33 46 games left. If Astros go 23-23 Mariners need to go 36-10 to tie them. Astros need to go 25 -21 for 100 wins. How did I type that out of order above?
Playoff rotation Verlander Valdez Javier McCullers + MLB leading bullpen in ERA Should spell a second world series title. It really should.
I feel great too But 2019 was historically good. Let's just keep enjoying the ride and hope/pray for continued good health and good performance.
There was a point this season where Bregman was still struggling badly and I was thinking “this would be three down seasons in a row…” But since the middle of June, he’s looked closer to his 2017-2019 self.
His eye was back or perhaps he corrected bad habits developed while injured (not swinging early). But the timing is returning. He's squaring up the ball better than when he was hitting weak infield pop ups and DPs.
This lineup sure looks better with Bregman punishing pitchers especially lefthanders. Hitting between Yordan and Kyle it's absolutely essential that he makes managers pay for bringing in a lefty to face them ( eventhough they do well enough as well)
Wait I thought Dusty had personal beef with Odi and was exacting revenge by not starting him, and now he would have started him over Javier?
I really have to question dWAR and if it really means anything. So now Yuli is a below replacement level defender?
