actually, Lance is a ground ball pitcher I believe. So you want Yuli at 1B. Plus Mancini needs the reps in LF at MMP.

You are clueless. Yuli is a better defensive 1B than Mancini. He has a Gold Glove there. The game is about offense AND defense.
Great defense is such a big deal in the playoffs. Altuve costs the Astros multiple games against the Rays in the playoffs. Almost costs them game 1 against Boston last year. There is the other side like Brantley's diving and doubling up Judge or Maldy's strike em out throw em out to effectively hold off Boston. So many gems. Defense is extremely important which is why Yordan should be your LF(cannon arm) and Mancini can DH.

In 256 innings at 1B this year, Mancini has zero errors. he is a better option at 1B than Yuli because he is much better with the bat and his defense doesn’t hurt you. Regardless of pitcher on either side, Mancini should be the everyday 1st baseman.
I think the only argument with this is the kid deserves a full spring training and season to get acclimated. If you just throw a kid in the fire (postseason pressure) it may destroy his confidence and hold back his progression in the long term.

But I cannot manipulate the freely available data quickly to pick a range vs lefties. But I would be interested in how many PA you consider a trend rather than "baseball" variance. It is probably available for a premium at sites like Stathead which might operate more like a data sort with multiple variables/columns in a spreadsheet.
