Let's just say at one point in my life, I worked there. I've stood right in front of the stage where he was stabbed.

This may also become closer to home than that.

Interesting. A friend of mine also mentioned that he used to visit that venue often as a kid when his family would vacation at that town years ago. He told me the same thing — he has a personal connection to what happened.

    I haven't denied anything.

I just also recognize that Christians have burned plenty of people at the stake, stoned, or found other horrid ways to kill people for blasphemy.

I don’t think that’s a big issue in the year 2022, other than in Muslim countries.

It wasn't so long ago. At this moment in history, yeah, you see it happening in Muslim countries. But you also see people kill abortion doctors and gays - a lot of the rationale for these actions are rooted in religion. Christian fundamentalism is a thing.

It's literally in the middle of nowhere. It's essentially a gated community that half functions as a small town. I used to have to park a half mile outside the gates and walk through them to work.

But it kind of makes sense as to why you would do this here as a foreign government. It's a bit shocking but it makes sense.

Little to no security at this place. Extremely lax environment. You're at least 20-30 minutes from the nearest trauma center, by time the helicopter gets there and flies someone to the hospital.

sure. it's not something they do routinely in the 21st century, unlike some other religions one could name.

Probably one of the best things coal has done for society as a whole. Industrialization leads to materialistic desires which leads to people leaving their more fundamentalist deranged beliefs. All about dem hierarchy of needs.
