It's weird but possible. Her body may have shut down due to all the stuff she was on. We'll never know
I don't have those problems, but you have to realize they exist. There truly are some people that are too far gone. It's sad, but ignoring the reality of the situation doesn't change anything. The time to help her has passed.
I was part of the discussion when my best friend's family decided to pull the plug on him. He was brain dead. I know for sure he and his family would have preferred him to live burned and dumber than be dead.
Now Knowing the extent of the brain damage, that video is creepy. Suppose it was just some kind of involuntary body reaction
There's no question that's a very tough situation to be in, and selfishly everyone would want their family member to continue living....but sometimes it's not the right thing to do. I'll give you a very real, personal example. My grandmother was dying of cancer, it was very near the end. Her daughter that was living with her and caring for her didn't want to administer her morphine because she knew it would expedite her death even though she knew my grandmother was in excruciating pain every moment she was even semi-conscious. Eventually she was convinced to do the right thing and ease my grandmother's suffering. She would have preferred my grandmother continue suffering just so she could be with her mom just a little bit longer.....but it wasn't the right thing to do. There are situations, and they are tragic, where people are too far gone and the best, most kind, most compassionate thing to do is to let them go. I think there's a good chance Anne Heche was there. She was looking at facing serious time in prison, she was looking at being disfigured, she was looking at untold physical handicaps as a result of her brain injuries, she was looking at potentially the end of her career. On top of all of that, the reasons for her substance abuse problems weren't about to just go away. The trauma of what her father did to her...the STD he gave her, what she believed to have been her brother's suicide, her sister's death from cancer, her father's death from AIDS, her mother disowning her over her bisexuality.... It's easy to shrug off what others have to struggle with since we don't have to feel it, but I have sympathy for those who are truly broken. I've lived a charmed life by comparison. I never want people to give up, but in certain cases, I understand it.
Apparently, she has died. OP should update the threat title to be [RIP]. So long, Anne. I enjoyed your work. I especially like the scene in "Six Days Seven Nights" on the plane where you were pretending to be on Xanax while Harrison is about to crash land the plane. "Attention K-mart Shoppers!" I feel for her two kids. They are too young to have to lose a parent in this manner especially. RIP
I made the same decision with D&D a couple years back. I got clutch to ban me from it. Glad it's not a part of my internet life anymore. It's just destructive there and no actual conversation happens.
She talked with firefighters as they removed her from the car so she was lucid before she went into a coma.
Didn't know she had kids. . . or young ones anyway Most definitely too young to lose their mom Rocket River
It definitely feels like a gut punch to me. I know people change but I really liked her personally. Such a great spirit on screen. Similar to another favorite of mine Britney Murphy. Substance abuse is real. And it is sad, but people are human. Love Anne.
Prayers? **** her v b**** ass, she was drunk and left another accident where someone tried to stop Her I’m so ****ing sick and tired of these thoughts and prayers. If you believe in prayers, maybe you also believe in hell. A place where people like that go
Yeah that's weird, they are saying she suffered an anoxic brain injury.... essentially that her brain was without oxygen for too long. Clearly it had to have happened AFTER she left the scene because you aren't conscious without oxygen to the brain. There's like a million things it could have been though, just the body going into shock from the severe burns alone could do it... or if they gave her something for the pain without knowing there was Fentanyl and cocaine in her system already, the combination could have done it.
I read they didn't find any alcohol in her system even though what seemed like a red-capped Vodka bottle was found.
Yeah, I'm gonna pass on sympathy for a drunk driver, mental health issues or not. The only silver lining is she didn't hurt anybody else and she had money so her estate might be able to pay for the damages she caused. I do feel sorry for any loved ones she left behind.
It’s fun! Watching them react is like Tmac fans crying or Lin fans asking god to help his nba career @Os Trigonum
