Not even sure WCS is better than Garuba.

    Boban: $3.5M
    Trey Burke: $3.3M
    Sterling B: $3.0M
    M Chriss: $2.19M

    Non Guaranteed
    Garrison Mathews: $2.0M
    Bruno Fernando: $1.9M

It's possible Bruno gets waived but I don't expect it.

The others are reserved for trade salary filler...slash...might stick with new team.

I don't think anyone wants Marquese Chriss and he is bottom of totem pole
as far as salary being waived goes.

Not sure how BimaThug came to his conclusion

I thought Chriss was also injured? Or has he now recovered?

Another fairly obvious reason he might be the guy waived

I think he meant to add

"When compared to Boban, Bruno or Usman"

I would like to see the argument that makes him better than Bruno or Usman. He’s a name we all remember, but he’s got proven suckage.

That’s a weird signing unless we know we are giving up a big with actual value in the Wiggins trade.

He's on a "prove it" kind of deal, he's not guaranteed a roster spot.

As to Bruno and Garuba, they haven't proven anything either.

Bruno is on his 3rd team in 2 years and I'm not convinced that Garuba even exists as often as he's hurt or having to sit because he's out of shape.

If WCS can beat out those 2 scrubs, awesome, if he can't, also awesome.

WE NEED TO CUT GARUBA ASAP!!!!! He’s wasting a spot on this team. We also can cut Chriss. Leaves us with Boban, Bruno, and KCS as great depth at the 5.

I’ve been impressed with Bruno in his limited time, and while I was underwhelmed by Garuba, his numbers show a productive player. WCS has years of garbage to show why he should be behind those two. No harm, no foul in the signing, but I don’t expect to see him opening day… unless something really goes RIGHT for us.

I don't really expect him to make the roster either, so I think we see eye to eye on that.

With Bruno, I'd love to believe that his 10 game sample here during garbage time is what we should expect from him going forward, but I think his other 100+ games is more of what we'll see.

Could be a good signing if he actually wants to play basketball.

You can't cut a first round pick going into year 2. You have to give it a shot. What the hell has boban done that is so much better than what garuba might be able to do?

Maybe they'll cut WCS to make space.
