Sad to see folks downplaying a private citizen stealing classified documents that could potentially harm our nation.

What can u expect from the hypocrites.

So you don't think classified documents were taken, or you don't think we should care?

Just because Trump broke a bunch of laws after leaving office doesn't mean he wasn't already taken down, come on now

Im thinking the "classified documents" are probably and most likely some pointless bs that does not matter or where already declassified..... Its going to end up being some extremely unimportant thing...

OK. And I take it you're saying this because Trump would be foolish or nuts to take actually sensitive, classified material with him, and you don't consider him to be either. I've seen enough of him, particularly in the aftermath of the 2020 election, to not give him that benefit of the doubt.

I do not like the rolleye emoji on this site. It's happy face doesn't convey the way I feel when I use it

Classified documents are classified documents. U can't just pretend that these documents aren't important.

They are classified for the reason.

    alternative view:

Biden administration releases previously classified JFK assassination files

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...reviously-classified-jfk-assassination-files/

    excerpt:

    December 15, 2021 at 4:06 p.m. EST

. . . The newly released batch of files, posted by the National Archives and Records Administration here, include 1,491 documents, 958 of which are from the CIA. That is less than 10 percent of the 15,834 documents that had remained partially or mostly redacted before Wednesday.

On Wednesday afternoon, Jefferson Morley, editor of JFKFacts.org and a former Washington Post staff writer, said he had not yet found anything earth-shattering but was still sifting through the hundreds of documents. A key development in the release, he noted, was that the National Archives also issued a plan to digitize the entire collection of JFK assassination records.

But apparently the President can declassify them without telling anyone. The Heritage Foundation says so.

So...FBI agents (you know, law enforcement and we all know Trumplicans are big "back the blue" supporters) should be put in danger for doing their job and executing a search warrant?

I think Trump kept the Kennedy assassination classified records for himself. It's so obvious when you think about it.

Opinion | What’s Missing From the New JFK Document Release
All the assassination files were supposed to be public in 2017. Donald Trump blocked them; Joe Biden is still holding some out. Why?

    https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2021/12/15/jfk-kennedy-assassination-documents-524221

    excerpt:

    12/15/2021 04:30 AM EST

Fifty-eight years after those gunshots rang out in Dealey Plaza in Dallas, the National Archives is about to reveal some of the secrets the government still keeps about the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

On the surface, this moment — the imminent release of long-secret documents from a JFK assassination library — looks like a victory for transparency. The release, scheduled for Wednesday, revives a decades-old declassification process that stalled in 2017, when President Donald Trump failed to comply with a legal deadline to make the entire library public. The CIA, FBI and other agencies had protested to Trump that the documents revealed national security secrets that, half a century after Kennedy’s murder, were still too sensitive to be public.

I find it telling that the republicans cancelled a meeting to discuss how to defend Trump....maybe this is the watergate moment for those losers.
