They made a good enough case in the 'quid pro quo' deal with Ukraine that the Republican senators agreed that he was guilty. Their argument then was 'well, it doesn't rise to the level of impeachment'.
I'm googling for the conviction but can't find it. I'm not having fun online, it's really frustrating

Not really the point of debate and discussion. Just saying. I don't agree with Os on a number of things, but he hasn't been rude or insulting, and he does post evidence and articles of things. I feel like he's interested in seeing what other people think about issues and reading the cases they make. I am not speaking of when people make personal attacks and that goes back and forth. I mostly tune that out as much as possible. So I'm not totally up to date on who insulted who how many times. I want people with different viewpoints to share them.
Do you honestly think something will come of this? They have been going after Trump for so long now.... Its pointless and its stupid, if this was just politics they wouldnt be going this hard at him. Trump is a legitimate danger to dems and corrupt republicans.... Honestly, they should have handed Trump the presidency in 2020... It was the worst time to take over the white house. Trump serves his 2nd term, the country does better but people never get to see how awful Biden was and they claim Trump is a terrible president and it will all be over soon in two years... Trump is now an afterthought and Dems can throw some actually good candidates that can actually do a decent job without all this drama. I dont get this obsession with Trump, pay him no attention and he would have never turned into a patriotic symbol...
