I wish.....I was just a lowly software guy who had to visit a certain site in California that required a TS DoD clearance. Because I had a clearance, I also got to go to a DoD affiliated site in Australia, so that was nice.

Sounds like my mother in law. She does the E-Learning or something for the DoD and had to get a pretty high security clearance for her job. I also think she did a full background check on me after I started dating her daughter.
Why would you issue a subpoena? He took 15 boxes. He was told to give all the classified stuff back. He didn't. He returned some of it.Some of which was torn and taped back together. Now had he not been asked to give it back and they just obtained a warrant that would be bad. This boils down to Trump defying the law he himself signed. When given the opportunity to correct it, he did not do so.
You do realize each and every one of those folks was assigned to their seat, that other candidates and parties do the same, and that there's a reason for it, right?
They have been refusing subpoenas and there was a risk of document destruction. Remember they had to get an independent judge to deem a crime was likely committed and that there would be likely be evidence to get the warrant. Sounds like surprise was a key factor in making this successful.

Greg Abbott shows more empathy for Trump than he ever did for the kids who were gunned down in one of his schools. Couldn't even be bothered to go meet with the parents or attend the funerals.
