    I understand many here don't like Omar. But I hope you believe you guys dodged a bullet with this one. Like Royce is significantly worse than Omar.

    I don’t think he did better than expected. I pay more attention to MN politics than even many Minnesotans but I had to look up who Cecily Davis was.

    She’s basically a Candace Owens clone which does play well in the current party. Even so Royce White came in with much more name recognition and got some media coverage.

    MN CD5 is about as safe as you can get for a Democratic seat. Even if Royce White had won it’s unlikely he gets more than 25% of the vote which is about the ceiling a Republican can expect in this district.
