It's mostly in the blowing up of a building and killing 168 people.
I just call it like I see it. I have defended people on the left and the right when I think they are accused of things they haven't done. I don't care about Trump or his supporters. I wish the media hadn't propped him up to be the Republican nominee in 2016. He certainly was not the best candidate. I just don't think people should be compared to terrrorists because they protest or think Trump won in 2020 or cosplay as a prisoner.
Neither. I don't post reflexively. I oppose takes I disagree with. I tend not to post, "I agree" on things I agree with, because I don't think it adds anything to the discussion.
Standing with the Democrats because you are worried about separation of powers, federalism, and government interference in the market is quite the r****ded choice to make.
I keep doing it an people attack me. Fortunately, there is no real negative effect to Democrats on a basketball BBS saying mean things to or about me.
If you don't see a moral difference between killing over 100 people and voting a certain way or saying nonsense, I don't know what to tell you.
I've spent a few minutes trying to explain to you that CPAC doesn't really believe they are all terrorists. I guess it was too big a task for me though, because you don't seem to get it.
    I stand on the record.

I just find it hard to believe that someone who sticks his neck out so much for Trumpian candidates isn’t a trump supporter. Im not here lying like Deb about my past allegiances, you can search my posting history. I’m a registered libertarian, worked on Gary Johnson’s campaign as a volunteer the first time, and prior to that was vice chair of college republicans at my college and… sadly worked doing call parties for Cruz during his first senator bid while I was at Texas State.

I also have photos with Republican politicians that I’m happy to share from when I was invited to to the Lincoln Reagan dinner in 2010 because I was a volunteer for Debrah Medina when she ran for governor. There’s also a photo of Medina and me shaking hands in the chronicle after that event.

I can’t stand many of the lefts policies, but I see the danger in supporting complete lunacy. The right has no platform since trump and I don’t see any plan to divert from the stupidity.

While I agree I’ve voted for the lesser evil, one party actually has plans and values, the other just cries and storms the capitol when they don’t get their way. The Republican Party needs to tank and rebuild through the draft. It’s a party of rich people wanting to not pay texas and the uneducated who are conned into supporting silly scare tactic positions.

I make pretty good money and while I’d prefer a flat tax than the current system, I will happily pay another few tens of thousands of dollars a year in taxes if it gets morons out of office.

the Republican Party needs to die.

QAnoniker: 'if you don't see the moral difference between hanging Mike Pence on a Gallows on the National Mall (as was the original intent of the Framers in Korematsu regarding the Electoral Count Act) and then staging a reading of the Turner Diaries as his entrails are dragged - and a couple of similarly minded militiamen blowing up a building - i simply don't know what to say"

None of that actually happened. There is no zombie Hitler for you to oppose. MTG never hanged anyone or staged a reading of the Turner Diaries or projected Song of the South on Mt. Rushmore or whatever. Timohy McVeigh blew up a building and killed 168 people. MTG is a moron that was elected to congress and has done not a whole lot. The January 6th rioters yelled a lot, some of them fought with some cops (causing a few very serious injuries) and didn't kill a single person. Mike Pence is still alive and well.
Which Trumpian candidate do you imagine I have stuck my neck out for?
Good for you? I never said anything about who you support now or in the past.
Okay? Don't vote for them I guess.
I'd happily be rid of both parties. I would rather the party that doesn't want to increase taxes and reduce freedom win, but the party that wants to keep taxes the same and reduce freedom isn't much better.
I see more downside in paying more taxes than in leaving the morons in office. Ideally, I would get both lower taxes and a limited government. That's why I voted for Jo Johnson.
No more so than the Democratic Party, but neither are worth a pile of crap.

I know you haven't practiced in a while, but chanting doesn't equate to attempted murder. I was in chambers with a judge recently that expressed some doubt that a conviction for attempted murder could be acheived when someone shot at a guy and missed, suggesting it was more assault with a firearm.

Based on your opinions on abortion I am confident in saying you didn’t vote for a libertarian candidate.

And, eh taxes suck but I was poor 7 years ago but I picked myself up by the bootstraps to be where I am now. And I will continue making more and not cry regardless of what the tax laws are.

Okay? You would be wrong. Voted for Johnson in 2020, and Johnson in 2016 (the Libertarian party loves Johnsons, apparently). It doesn't matter who I vote for, California is going to go Dem by about 3 million votes and the Libertarian candidate will be in the single digits.
That's nice. Taxes have more effect on my life than any other policy of the federal government, so why would they not be my #1 issue?

You have the power to control your income, unless you’re lazy. You don’t have the power to control personal liberties.

That's why I vote libertarian, because it maximizes personal liberties and minimizes taxes. Democrats are the worst for personal liberties.

Yes, but against free speech, free association, freedom to contract, free land use, freedom to bear arms, etc. Democrats don't favor drug legalization (you can tell by how they haven't legalized drugs). I don't think killing your offspring is very protective of their freedom. Government should get out of marriage entirely, leaving it really free (in addition to gay marriage, you could have multiple marriage). Both major parties seem to take issue with books, they just hate different books. For example, the progressives removed Huckleberry Finn and To Kill a Mockingbird from the curriculum.

Which personal liberties are the left worse than the right on?

I too wasted my votes for the first 8 years of my voter eligibility, and was content with it. But after 2 election cycles of watching the right become more and more anti science, anti business, and anti religious freedom I held my nose and voted D for president in 2016. I voted mixed ticket for local positions. Then after 4 years of watching the right double and triple down on stupidity I voted straight ticket D in 2020 .

I’m curious what could motivate someone who considers themself neutral to feel ok with empowering the party that has no policy and only exists to b**** n’ wine and **** on our constitution.

You must have been writing your post at the same time, but the answer is right above.
I don't see voting for the party I prefer as a waste, especially since the outcome is a foregone conclusion where I live.
I don't consider myself neutral. I consider myself unaffiliated with either of the major parties. I am a small L libertarian. I am in favor of small government, elimination of as much taxation as possible, expansion of personal freedom, elimination of the welfare state for both individuals and corporations, etc. I don't see how you could vote for Democrats and then talk about people ******** on the Constitution. It is the Republican appointed justices who are finally somewhat enforcing the Constitution, though they aren't doing enough. Only Thomas is even close.

Just look at gas prices now and gas prices under Bidden.

    Under Biden we've got

    inflation
    IRS/government intrusion into our lives
    Ukraine
    Afghanistan withdrawal.

    Under Trump
Lowest minority unemployment rate in history

Lowest unemployment rate for women in history

    Tough on China
    Peace- no wars
Got out of bad climate deal
I could go on, but I would like you to point out which racist things Trump has done?
Curbing inflation by printing more money, brilliant.
Enjoy the pain we're going through a voice for Biden is a vote for socialism and we deserve what we are currently getting. It's only going to get worse now that the new spending bill is going to pass. Brilliant

Sorry, ever since the pandemic this world's inflation skyrocketed. It's called supply and demand, and the greedy are taking advantage to make billions more. Tax breaks for the rich isn't the answer. The trickle down effect is BS.

Inflation will go down eventually, but things need to change. I don't want to go back to having a lying sociopath running this country who doesn't give a damn about anyone but himself.

Sorry, he and his new radical right party have turned me into a Democrat. Dancing on the graves of the hundreds of thousands dying of Covid while bragging about his crowds of no maskers at the height of the pandemic did that for me. Far too many died because they believed his lying"Covid is a hoax" BS. The insurrection was the final straw.

The majority of the GOP defended and covered up Trump's coup attempt and his attempt to change the election results. I can't support that type government as a 20 year Vet. I can't support a party that can't be trusted, especially in times of trouble. I can't support a party with election deniers and people willing to lie about an election or decertify the winner to stay in power.

Vote for who you want, but I can't support a party that is voting against every good thing the Democrats try to do, when it comes to lowering healthcare prices, lowering prescription drug prices, etc...

I agree with all the proposals Biden and the Democrats have introduced to attack inflation, price gouging, domestic violence against women, gun safety, help for for Vets suffering from burn pits, etc.. The GOP voted all those issues down. They don't care!!!! They want to see Biden fail at the cost of our people.

Loose gun laws and tax breaks for the rich aren't my priority. I'm sick and tired of all these mass shootings and Republicans taking NRA blood money. Life isn't better building schools into fortresses, arming schools with AR-15s, and allowing civilians to walk around with weapons designed for one purpose..to kill in mass. When schools become gated and armed like prisons teachers have to have weapons, kids live in fear, and gun toting thugs run around legally armed up like soldiers going to battle I don't think America is better. It's more like a 3rd world type country mentality
    Enough is enough.

I'm not here to give you details of all Trump's racist past, but it's lengthy. Do your research. There are many articles of his racism stemming back through his years as a real estate developer. Sorry, but there is a huge presence of White Nationalism in the GOP Party. That appeals to a lot of the hate groups and racists. Believe me. Inclusion and diversity isn't what's accepted from those types.

Nope. I'm a Republican turned Democrat. That's thanks to the new GOP party molded under Trump.

I apologize being part of the pile up and honestly I don't think you're a party hack QAnoner. I think you're a well informed poster who does put thought into your posts but if you're calling it like you see it I think you have a really big blind spot.

Trump and his supporters may be morons but that doesn't mean that they aren't dangerous and given how much of the GOP is toadying to him very much a danger. You've heard Trump directly ask a State Secretary of State to "find" him votes to win an election in direct violation of the law and the principle of Federalism. You've seen how Trump has tried to undermine the judiciary and concentrate evey more power in the hands of the Executive. For someone who wants small government and free market Trump used government power to both punish companies he didn't like and also to benefit his own personal businesses. Trump's own Secretary of Defense spoke about how dangerous and divisive Trump was to the US Constitution and just this past week Generals that served under Trump spoke about how dangerous he is.

That you think it is r******ded for Liz Cheney to side with Democrats regarding the danger of Trump and his supporters tells me that this is ideological. Democrats certainly aren't perfect and agree from a libertarian side most of what they do is disagreeable. This though isn't about liking Democrats and Cheney didn't vote for all of the Democratic legislation except regarding Jan. 6th. This is about the rule of law.

It's that so many Libertarians and Conservatives turn a blind eye to the threat of populist demagogues is how people like this come to power.
