I am very excited as well. I love the vision that Stone has for this team moving forward. I foresee the kids treading water through 3 quarters most nights before succumbing to more veteran squads at winning time in the 4th. I think they'll improve from worst record in the league status but still see them as a bottom 5 or 7 team in the W-L column. No matter, they need time to cook anyway and adding another lottery pick never hurt a rebuild. Use this season to establish a starting lineup of KPJ-Green-Eason-Smith-Sengun. That lineup will need some time but it is fire.

It's corny af to be giddy like a schoolgirl over a team with the worst record 2 seasons running. Could you imagine anyone saying this stuff in real life and not getting clowned for it?

 

It just depends on if you are capable of analyzing a situation and seeing the probable future outcomes or not.

If your cognitive ability ends at the last two years were bad thus bad, I could see how you might have that perspective. However, if you were capable of recognizing that a bright future is on the horizon, it might be something that would get you excited.

The Golden State Warriors were a 23 win team in 2012....but it's probable that some of their fans recognized that they had a bright future and were excited anyway.
