I needed a good laugh, a few thoughts, if this were true you know dam well fox would have had something on the air about them going. He then says there were no cops and they "almost" breached the "18 acres" of the the WH .........these folks have no shame, they lie just like anyone else simply speaks

Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) organizer Matt Schlapp claimed this Friday that he and Fox News host Laura Ingraham went "undercover" at the May 31, 2020 Black Lives Matter protest in D.C., The Daily Beast reports.

Schlapp said he dressed up in camouflage and wore a mask to hide his identity, and added that Ingraham was the "impetus" for the stunt when she said “let’s go down and see this” as the protest against the killing of George Floyd took place outside the White House, adding that she’s “one tough mother."

“And I have to say, all you could smell was drugs,” Schlapp said. “There were no cops. It was complete pandemonium. It was like a scene from a movie, you know, Escape From New York or one of these end of the world things.”

He went to claim that he personally witnessed vandalism and arson take place during the protest, and that the protesters “almost breached the 18 acres of the White House” and injured dozens of police officers and Secret Service agents in the process.

“You’ll never read or hear about that,” he exclaimed.

I brought this up in another thread about how so often conservatives talk about how “the law is law” and the importance of enforcing the laws. How often there is a case of LEO killing an unarmed suspect that they will talk about how the suspect would’ve been alive if they just complied. How they painted Democrats as a whole as wanting to “defund the police”.

Yet when it comes to enforcing things like tax laws they want less enforcement. When it comes to Jan. 6th they make comparisons to the internment of Japanese Americans for suspects arrested from that incident. They make a martyr out of Ashli Babbitt who wasn’t complying with LEO. When the DOJ or FBI doesn’t support their beliefs and is investigating their leaders then we should defund them.

Respect for the law and those who enforce it is all situational. A poor desperate immigrant trying to cross into this country through improper channels is a law breaker and should be treated harshly. A rioter breaking into the US Capitol to stop a legal action of Congress is martyr to be celebrated.

That is just beautiful. This is the Republican party, today. If they weren't also a threat to democracy, I'd join the party because of stunts like that. Hilarious.

You would NEVER EVER see MTG do that with a black man who got charged for looting, and what those Insurrectionists did went far and above looting.

That's so perfect. He's creating a very awesome drama scene about the injustice of locking up Jan 6th criminals, and yet he helped put those folks in jail with his cooperation.

    It can't get any better.

This is a big problem with our culture. People are more willing to be moved and believ something that is fake because it fits their preconceived notions.
