I've seen more highlight videos and twitter reposts the past 2 seasons than there was for the entirety of Harden's career in Houston. It's overkill, and yes, it's extremist fanboism.
Type sht like this yet proceeds to trash green the majority of the season regardless of his potential. It's like u r obivlious to your own behavior when it came to green and expect extreme anti kpj folks to follow that advice. U Spent basically all of last season calling folks idiots and whatever insults u can think of when it comes to folks gauging green positively. Now sings a different tune for kpj. The irony
..... fans tend to post highlights of the best players on the team, especially when the team isn't doing well overall. Welcome to basketball fandom.. The real question is, why do highlight videos of the Rockets' best players trigger you? Such an odd reaction from a "fan"
court vision is not equal to number of assists. Simple as that. If your role is to make the first pass to MJ and he scores after your pass, you will have a lot of assists but that does not show you have court vision. My first post was my answer to why his assist numbers are not very impressive and not an indicator of court vision. More possessions than other teams, and attack after one pass. Combine that with defenses not being hard on us, 6 assists per game. You can watch all his assists and see for yourself how much court vision and shot creation is there. Your eye test can say something different than mine, but it will be much more accurate than the reasoning '6 assists so good court vision'.
If a team were to sign him for $20m+, they would expect results immediately, unlike the Rockets. He has the ability to grow here. A team that spent big money would bench him for the level of play he has produced so far. That would only derail his career. All of a sudden, you are Talen Horton-Tucker. Don’t be a Talen Horton-Tucker.
Are you even from Houston? You make the fanbase look bad. If I were a Mavs or Spurs fan, I'd be laughing so hard at you posting highlights of the worst team in the league like they had just won the championship.
So you get upset when you see Jalen Green or Sengun highlights? Or is it just a KPJ thing? I want to properly diagnose you. Are you upset about people seeing potential in all young players, or just one?
"Give KPJ $20-$25M now or risk insulting him later." "Don't be surprised when Porter Jr gets $30M." "Do the right thing and max him out now for it's so unfair Kyrie makes more." "Sure he's on his eighth 2nd chance, but you're a PCS for mentioning any of those previous incidents and only see the worst in Kevin." "KPJ > Brunson because I said so."
It's fine to post highlights for education but doing it as a means of bragging at this point is just silly. This current iteration of the Rockets hasn't earned it's fans the right to brag or gloat yet, that goes for all of the players but especially KPJ.
Fans typically get excited about their best young players, especially during a rebuild. Again, welcome to basketball. Don't worry though, you can get upset every time you see a KPJ, Sengun, or Jalen Green highlight reel, fans will keep posting them.... because they are fans. Next year might be hell for you because not only are those 3 likely to rack up a ton more highlights, but they'll be adding Smith highlights too. Good luck.
