Oh, well, until scenes leak, we can take solace with this old terrible scene from a not-bat woman.

There may be more recent numbers... But as one may imagine there is a size difference in terms of audience reach.

"Discovery, Inc. ended 2021 with 22 million streaming subscribers. "

"AT&T revealed that it beat its projected year-end goal with 73.8 million total subscribers between HBO and HBO Max (even after its breakup with Amazon). "

As far as brand recognition and size, really should be Discovery+ folding into HBO, not the other way around. The new exec came from Discovery hence his preferencial treatment.

Follow the money. The movie looked like it was going to be terrible, would have required another $10M in investment to finish, and would not have matched the new vision for WB. Plus they could use it as a tax write off saving likely tens of millions of dollars. Even though this is unprecedented, when you put all those factors together the decision to scrap the film makes sense.

If DC is going to compete with Marvel they are going to have tear this whole thing down and start again anyway.

@Os Trigonum has tagged me with useless posts ever since I called him out for being dishonest and lazy with his original take.

I don’t see how that can be honest or dishonest. It’s a question.

Even the article you posted originally had no mention of wokeness. You being intellectually dishonest is no surprise.
