    The two positions that we "upgraded" at the deadline have both come up in this game with the bases loaded and our non replacements have both done nothing. Great trades.

    Sure would be nice to have the Red Sox catcher Vazquez batting….. oh wait.. oh wait…

    And before anyone says anything about Maldy’s defense. Vazquez has caught Cy Young pitchers.

    Same applies to Maldy as Yuli. Come playoff time, if he isn't what the team needs at the plate, Vazquez needs to be given more opportunity.
