That's obvious but 1) Framber is an extreme ground ball pitcher so maybe put Trey or Alvarez in LF tomorrow and DH the other. 2) give Yuli a day off Saturday or Sunday. Tada. . . Trey gets 2 starts + maybe gets a PH appearance or 2 in the other 2 games. In fact it makes great sense for Trey to start in LF and Yuli at 1B every time Framber pitches
If that is the plan, and it certainly may be...but if it is, then Click did a horrendous job of putting a roster together to win a World Series. It's not likely we will go through the entire playoffs playing only in stadiums with short left fields
No problem. I've appreciated all of your minor league updates over the years, so anything for you buddy
Sigh... So far Yuli for Mancini doesn't look so hot. If Yuli's making his case to stay in the lineup, that's not a great start.
Yes there is a need. Gurriel has like 29 rbi’s and its Aug 4th. He is our starting 1st baseman. There is a definite need to “give his job away’
They're gonna hammer this guy second time around. He's wild and it seems like theyre seeing the ball well
That’s it? If they want Mancini to start great, I have no problem with it. Yuli has been playing well recently so I also don’t have a problem with starting him tonight. Is it really that contentious of an issue?
I will say it again. Yuli has 29 rbi’s as our starting first baseman. He has batted 5th in the order most of the season. He has 29 rbi’s on Aug 4th as a middle of the order starting 1st baseman. Its august 4th. He has 29 rbi’s. He bats 5th or (now) 2nd in the order every damn night. He has 29 rbi’s.
