I think Mancini will get some storybook hits/homers in the playoffs. Seems like one of those guys (like Altuve) that gets Roy Hobbs moments.

Is this the one that was crying after giving up a bunch of hits during the Braves/Dodgers playoff?

No matter, I think our staff can fix him.

Next series shouldn't be bad. Cleveland is 4 games above .500, that means Astros will show up and send them back down to .500

What a great day for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Great win today with some nails pitching and timely hitting. Looking forward to seeing what Vazquez and Mancini can do. Hope Brantley comes back at some point this year. Or not maybe.

If the Astros just went 5-4 against the A's and Red Sox, we would be a game up on the Yankees and sport the most wins in baseball.

New player on the bench for a game is one. Continuing to play inferior players. Benching players after a good day. Emptying the bench in a day game after a night game, preferring playing POC rather than white guys if they are close in talent...

So.... no one noticed, not the Red Sox, not the announcers, not any umpires, but Yordan got 4 strikes in the 3rd inning.

    Ball 1
    Called strike 1
    Foul strike 2
    Called strike 2
    Ground out

I went back to rewatch and, sure enough, he got an extra strike and no one complained

    ETA

the board would be going apeshit if Baker missed that

Why? I lay odds at 75% benched after a homer.
