If the NFLPA does take this to court, it will be interesting to see what their strategy is. Because they wouldn't be arguing that Watson was not guilty at that point, right? A judge already determined that? They would instead be arguing that more than 6 games suspension is too much for what Watson did, which will look very, very bad for them. But maybe they don't care.
Take it to court & expose the McNairs, Robert Kraft, Daniel Snyder, Jerry Jones & the rest of those owners… The NFL wants an “indefinite” suspension because that’s what the mob wants & public outcry demands. They could not give two ***** about women.
NFL is trying to repair an image by making an example out of freakman. A year should’ve been the minimum time from the start but they’re all about saving face. An indefinite suspension means they’re focused on coming after that money. Either way from a football standpoint this makes those browns picks even better
I don't give a **** about the rapist. I'm interested on how long he'll be suspended. The longer, the better our draft pick from them.
I don’t believe so. Not unless he is being investigated by the NFL; which the investigation has already occurred.
You know what will be funny....Watson gets to play games as he fights the new appealed suspensions for this year. But when it's all sorted out, he'll lose more money when his suspension starts next year.
