    Disappointed but not mad

    Stros on pace for 100 wins and are highly volatile in the playoffs

    You are right his numbers were pretty good. Still, he was 0-4 in game 7 when we needed someone to step up. I just remember everyone sucking.

    My first thought when reading this was you were going to the astros game since our offense gives off the same kind of vibes.

    Maybe it was his 0-4 in game 7 when we needed someone to step up. Anyway, just scroll up, I already covered this.

    Yep, he was good in the Series he was good in, and he was bad in the Series he was bad in. Just like Correa and everybody else.

    They would fit right in to the current Astros...

    Springer is hurt and Correa has a .120 BA, .267 OBP, and .280 SLG his last 7 games

    Springer had a great game 1 in that series and hit a homer. He also hit a homer in the top of the 9th in game 5 in a game that was already wrapped up. When we needed hits though, the team was cold.

    Yup. August has almost always been our down month. Good thing we built up a comfortable lead in the standings

    I love George but in the bottom of the 8th game one he didn't bust it out of the box, I still think he thought he had hit it out. If he'd ran hard all the way I think he makes it to third and Altuve ties it on the fly out.

    He can't fire Saint Dusty. That's the owner's decision and the owner does whatever kangaroo court MLB tells him as MLB protects their pets. Move to the AL BOY. Fire your GM and Manager BOY. Hire Dusty BOY.

    I see a pattern and you don't. We'll see who's right over the rest of the year. I really do hope I'm wrong and Dusty does what it takes to WIN rather than buck management. He wants to be the Norma Rae with the players against Management or at least Click. Or he could just be playing favorites.

    Anyway, I can't wait till he's GONE.

    When I'm upset about the Astros I just listen to some SRV and the world seems like a better place for a while.

    one of the best guitar solos of all time right here.
    This should make anyone smile.

    Other patterns
    * Astros getting nearly shut out by recently added pitchers.
    * The 10 run curse
    * Kevin Eschenfielder curse: This guy should be doing golf and his presence has us losers of the last 4 games he has stepped in for TK.
    *The space city uniforms.
    * The month of August
    * Homefield advantage in WS

    It's gotten so bad with how dead MMP gets through innings, that I enjoy the road games more with the F Altuve chants.

    The sooner the old guard accepts that in baseball these patterns can become a thing of the unexplained, the more of a chance for a successful exorcism.
    Now Click didn't come through with another bat @Centerfield or my pink flamingo sculpture to always keep the bats awake but there is plenty to look forward to with this squad.

    Give us a 1st place team to play! Bored of these bottom feeders!

    This is how I see it, and it fits a pattern that was apparent at other places

    He was a good band-aid hire but we have peaked under Dusty Baker.

    Hope I'm wrong.
