    Here’s what’s amazing.

Your team can’t hit and you have a 800+ ops guy sitting when Jake Meyers is hitting and a backup catcher who hits a 100 points higher than the current starter.

    this is insane.

    Coaching loss…

Mancini in LF, YA DH, shift Tucker to center and Chas in RF JUST to see what that looks like going forward.

Bregman was probably up all last night...another obvious choice.

If we truly traded for Mancini to be a bench bat, and maybe start in place of Tucker some

We are good enough to sell a butt load of tickets but unfortunately that might be about it

I know the Astros have said many times they don't want Tucker in CF, and i've reminded people of that over and over and over in the trade thread...but Meyers is like sending a pitcher up there to hit, somethings got to give

Tucker and Meyers need to take turns hitting each other in the head with their bats. Whomever is last man standing wins and will be cured of their hitting slump.

So you're sitting Diaz, who has basically been Yordan-Lite for a month?

And why would you play Tucker in CF and Chas in RF and not the other way around?

And when's the last time Tucker took flyballs in CF? Is it even something the Astros are considering?

And those 2 guys will have to lose playing time to get the new guys in at 1st, LF, and DH.

Maybe maybe no, but that's a reasonable suggestion

I get that everybody wants to see their fancy new toys, but some of yall are freaking out, reading too much into, and b****ing waaaaay too much tonight

You guys don't get it. Other teams can bring new players in and put them on the field right away. Dusty requires a 3 day orientation before they can see the field. Even someone that just had to walk across the diamond to his new dugout.....

I'm curious to see if they change their minds on that in the future.

I'd give Chas more time in CF in the near future, I'd consider giving Meyers a couple of weeks in SL...but if they were considering that I doubt they trade Siri, so....who the hell knows?

Anemic hitting or great pitching? I can't decide.

Bats looking Sahara dry... barely even getting any solid contact, looking like the all the good ol feast or famine playoff/WS offense.

Ehh, if any position needs "orientation" time it's catcher. He could have DH tonight but then did you want Yordon or Diaz sitting tonight?
