You just proved my points exactly. Trevor Bauer was never been convicted, in fact he was not even being charged. You are also one of those "internet judges" to judge on this matter I am not saying if he had done it or not, as it is not my point. Same in this case of Watson, that's why Goodell was pushing for a full season ban, as his decision was not related to any court decisions but rather about "protecting the shield" and the league's interest - as all these will be based on the public reaction, which the league clearly stated they have the rights to do so. Unfortunately they hired the wrong judge as she for some reasons, did not get the memo and probably think she was not retired and made the decisions like she is still a judge on the court.

Regardless of what will be the final suspension, I dont think Watson will have a good season in 2022 in any circumstances. There are lots of players will disagree on this ruling and will take this personally and may even try to hurt him on the field.

For the Browns owner to say the words "many will be triggered" just shows they didn't give a s*** about the situation or the victims. He's shown no remorse. This will happen again and it will escalate. Looks like he has yet another team that will support it. I'm wondering if that's what went into the negotiations when his team was looking for a trade partner, I guess good thing he didn't smoke a joint or it could've been a season.
