I guess wokes are understandably upset? Actually honestly I don't understand.... there are many comics and sources of media out there. Unless the writer is specifically calling for harm against gays or minorities, I don't see why many people really care. There is certainly a small amount of extreme "woke" people that are very active on social media, just like there are qAnon conspiracy theorists on the opposite side that are the extreme on the other side.

Black men, like everyone else should be free to do what they want if they are not harming people.

 

I'm actually not sure there is actually widespread woke meltdown about this. There is only one subreddit r/Comicbooks that banned all mention of Eric and his work citing hate group? there's never been any official explanations of this stance by the mods. There's definitely some beef there for whatever reason.

Tinman might be exaggerating the actual reaction to the comics.
