You are describing two conditions here: results in needless activity (i.e. trying to solve a problem that doesn’t exist) and not considering the totality of who may be affected. A prime recent example of “wokeness” that made much news in the last 10 years was sports athletes silently protesting against what they perceive to be systemic and pervasive racial injustice during the playing of the national anthem. I understand why you might think this act of protest is unnecessary, but how is it inconsiderate? That’s an example of something that harms no one, but maybe hurts the feelings of certain types of conservatives. Does this qualify as “woke” in your mind?
I don’t agree with it myself but not everything I disagree with has to be woke keep in mind - However I’m kinda opposite on what you touched on I do think it was necessary for those affected but I think the consideration could’ve been messaged out to veterans a little bit better from the jump For people on the right , I think it’s important to separate woke acts to political beliefs we don’t agree necessarily agree with - This is how we can achieve greater participation from those on the left from feeling like it’s an attack on everyone on the left

Woke means you are aware of the issues and what are behind those issues, it means you are a caring person, a "We" over "Me" person in regards to society. It means that you believe it is beneficial to lift everyone up for the good of the country, not just a few. Being WOKE is a badge of honor and intelligence. DD
If this is caring, I want no part of it…thankfully there are good souls on the left, including media types and even part of the trans community that is doing their part to expose the vilification. Why would it? There are hundreds of millions of people in the USA. There are going to be outliers, there always has been and will be. What percentage of transgender people do you think agree with Blair? Hell there were Jews that supported Hitler. The left loves to believe they speak for everyone one that is in a minority. The right seems to think if they find a handful of exceptions that it means that the positions held by the left are destroyed. Neither is true.
