It will depend on what other teams do. If every trade just seems like an overpay (like what the Mariners paid for Castillo) I will probably be ok with it. But that would be shocking, because there seem to be tons of bullpen arms available and those prices shouldn’t be prohibitive. But if we roll into the playoffs with Lee, Matijevic, and Meyers on the roster it won’t be the end of the world.
This team does not have enough offense to win the title. I am OK with Yuli but we need another OF who can hit. Will be disappointed if it is not addressed.
Personally. I will be indifferent. I think they are good enough as is to win it all. I will just make the assumption that what the other clubs asked for in return for X player would have been too expensive. What some fans forget, is that every organization doesn't view X prospects the same. A team like the Nationals may not value Hunter Brown like the Cubs would. I am just going to choose to trust our organization which has been the best in baseball since 2015.

Assuming Brantley is out for the year then I agree with this; it would be sad to not do anything at all to upgrade the offense. Of course if the FO are very strong believers in Meyers and Matijevic and Lee then it’s understandable they wouldn’t want to overpay for a bat they don’t view as a substantial upgrade.
But seriously Odorizzi compares favorably to just about any rental SP rumored to be available. If he is traded it should be for a decent prospect or two.
