There are a lot of players the Astros would like to add but it is all going to come down to cost. There are some teams like Baltimore, Oakland, Tampa and Cleveland that are known to highly value Astros prospects and that makes a trade a little easier.
They talked about him a week or so ago. Lots of interest in lots of players but it comes down to cost. Also some deals depend on others. For example if the Astros get Contreras they likely won’t get Bell and vice versa.
Players on those teams that might interest Houston: Baltimore: Mancini, Mullins Oakland: Murphy, Trivino, Laureano Tampa: Choi, J Lowe, Raley Guardians: Bieber?, Clase?
When Hell freezes over. But they might find a Morman Missionary, extract his blood and say it is Judges while MLB and the Yankees act like virtuous snobs.
Hopefully never. It’s good for baseball when someone is hitting bombs like that. The Yankees are going to lose him in free agency. Hopefully to Boston in a reverse Ruth scenario.
Baltimore's Mancini has to join our new signee with the same name. At least with the same organization for a year. Trey and Joey would make a good photo op.
I'd be horrified with his two outcome approach. That's why I fantasize about Goldschmidt. He's another Yordan type complete hitter. Goldschmidt 333 414 611 1025 Yordan 312 420 678 1098 Judge 300 382 676 1059 OK. Not horrified. I'd love all three. But Judge does remind me of Casey at the Bat. https://duckduckgo.com/?t=ffab&q=ca...www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8-a2aW2CoU&ia=videos
Judge in a GIANTS uni would be pretty funny, and I’m all for any move that hurts NYY and LAD simultaneously Unrelated, but interesting:
I don’t care too much if he stays in New York, he’s playing out of his mind right now in a contract year. Realistically he’s probably just another Stanton when he levels off. Yankees already over paying for Stanton, Chapman, and Cole let them keep their overrated guys that can’t beat us anyways.
We should tip some cars if he does. That would be Huge; a Huge win for humanity. It would be something like the Empire letting Vader walk over a salary dispute. We are the (orange) rebels and yes, we own them now; far more if the heart of their empire goes to the West Coast (NL west coast, that is). May the force be with you.
I know I’m gonna sound like a tin foil hat guy but with how sketchy the MLB has been I would not be surprised at all if they are serving up Judge juiced balls.
This is Odorizzis last game lets wish him luck guys . they just wanna see if he is healthy he wont pitch past the 6th
