Who knows. I never saw him speak out against anything important the Republicans vote against. I used to only see him like Biden shaming posts or Democrat shaming stuff. I put him on ignore awhile back. He never brought his opinions, or an actual debate against an issue. He just posted and copied crap or ridiculed me for speaking out against GOP measures I found troubling or disgusting. His true allegiance is a mystery, even though he once told me he wasn't a Republican. He certainly hasn't condemned Trump or the party for their propaganda and lies that I remember. He didn't speak out against any of the bills they voted NAY to either.

Republicans are bastards! I hate those guys

House Rating Changes: More Movement Toward Republicans

10 changes, all but 1 in favor of GOP

    https://centerforpolitics.org/crystalball/articles/23709/

    excerpt:

    KEY POINTS FROM THIS ARTICLE
    — We are making 10 House rating changes, 9 of which benefit Republicans.

    — Our overall best guess at the net change in the House — a GOP gain somewhere in the 20s — remains unchanged.

    — We don’t see a huge impact, so far, from the Supreme Court’s landmark abortion opinion.

Maybe if you didn't post more than anyone else in the D&D it wouldn't feel like that. Maybe if you gave even one non-sarcastic actual opinion on something, people might not get on your case. You post more than anyone yet say less than everyone. Even this post...

...is sarcasm and unnecessary. Why do you post in the D&D if you have no opinion? What do you think? Why is that so difficult?

Are you just that much of an attention w****?

I just something on Chris Hayes so take with proper skepticism, that Republicans blocked the burn pit bill because they felt betrayed by Manchin’s switch on the climate change bill.

Apparently McConnell believed that Manchin would continue to hold out against the climate change bill in return the GOP would vote not block the chip bill. Once the chip bill passed Manchin and Schumer announced the climate change deal. Republicans then focused on the next available target the burn pit bill to express their ire.

If true, that's pretty childish and crazy. D party pisses off the R party. R party punishes veterans in retaliation.

Nobody should be applauding denial to help those who served our country.

The Republican party are not going to have any toes left by November, they keep shooting themselves.

    Between Roe vs Wade

The blocking of this bill and the chips bill they are slowly bleeding out.

Well, it looks like it's not just the burn pit bill, but now Republicans Senate (or at least from Susan Collins) have said they would no longer support the marriage equality bill, and they whipped their House members up to vote against the Chip bill.

This is an interesting (weird) approach. I see it as toddler-like behaviors because they are pissed that the DEM has an agreement on a package of bills addressing the climate, tax, and drug expenses (a huge win for DEM and Biden IOW).

House generic ballot polling, which is tracked by both the RealClearPolitics and FiveThirtyEight trackers, is a bit closer now than it was the day of the Dobbs decision, June 24. The former has moved from a Republican lead of about 3.5 points to a GOP lead of about 2, and the latter from a GOP lead of about 2.5 to just about half a point. Some individual surveys, such as recent ones from Fox News and CNN, have shown Democrats and Republicans expressing roughly equally high motivation to vote, although other polls show a clear GOP motivation edge: The Marquette University Law School poll — known for its Wisconsin polls but polling nationally in this survey — found an 18-point edge for Republicans on being “very enthusiastic” about voting (although the same survey only showed a narrow GOP edge on a question about certainty to vote). These motivation questions are important as we try to assess who will actually show up in November. Most generic ballot polls at the moment are only reporting results for registered voters, a larger universe of people than likely voters.

It was more that the climate change bill.

    https://www.thedailybeast.com/getting-rolled-mitch-mcconnell-was-outfoxed-with-his-own-playbook

Barely an hour later, after more than a year of halting negotiations, Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.V.) announced he had reached an agreement with Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) on a package of climate investments, tax hikes for the rich, and prescription drug reforms.

McConnell said in June that Republicans would hold the manufacturing bill hostage if Democrats moved forward with their broader bill, which would pass through a party-line vote process called reconciliation. After that, Manchin threw cold water on the idea of passing a sweeping bill, and Republicans expected Democrats to pursue a pared-down package only containing drug pricing reforms.

Clearly, Manchin never left the table. And Republicans, along with the rest of the world, found out when the senator released a statement announcing his support for a party-line bill—minutes after the GOP relinquished its leverage.

“I think that could be something you call ‘getting rolled,’” Sen. Mike Braun (R-IN) told The Daily Beast on Thursday. “There had to be a little bit of trust. I guess, someone, it looks like they either misunderstood or it didn’t work out the way it should have.”

“It’s a sour taste,” Braun continued, “for some of us.”

It's like they can't read the room.

None of this stuff does them any good come November and it shows they don't want to govern.

    The ads just write themselves.

Trump is the biggest bully that politics has ever had. Not only must you be loyal and bow to his every word kissing his ass, but there are specific financial requirements to buy his endorsement. Else, he will get up there and call you names. He will turn on you...on a dime. He may have supported you before but, if you said something that is against him, now you are a "nasty person" and let the Trump insults fly. It really is ridiculous how low the bar is set with Trump and how Republicans think he is good for the party. I think they are cowed into supporting him and are scared if they don't. It really has nothing to do with what candidates are best for the country and politics. It's about blind loyalty to a dog.

    Always be grifting.

I have to give Trump credit he has figured out to monetize this to the fullest.
