Doubtful LMJ is ready and Brown will take Odorizzi's spot. Even if Astros trade for Castillo, it would likely be Brown and/or Odorizzi to the pen if they are on 26-man.
Every season, there's that one team you just can't beat. Doesn't matter what their record is. This season, it appears to be Oakland for some reason. It's just one of those things. I remember the 90's Astros couldn't beat Colorado. Before that, it was the Padres in the NL West days for a few seasons. We don't see them again until late Sept at home and we'll have the division pretty much wrapped up by then.
My gut tells me that Garcia is moved rather than Urquidy. He has an extra year of control and a higher ceiling. If it's Urquidy that goes then it is probably for a less impactful player.
Well, we aren't playing the MIGHTY Oakland A's ... so we should be competitive this series. That is if Dusty doesn't rest half our ****ing team.
While the odds of Urquidy being traded aren't zero, it is still small, IMO. I'd guess odds are much more likely he's in the pen if not startring.
Lol, the argument could be made now is the time to rest the players with the aches. ....before they become major problems.
Saturday is Framber’s turn and Sunday is Jake’s turn. I have a gut feeling we may see Jake to the IL, Brown called up for a spot start (Saturday?), and Valdez pushed back a day. Maybe I’m reading too much into things but Click’s recent radio interview gave me the impression we are calling up Brown sooner rather than later.
I get rest and agree with it but some of the lineups when we do rest are absolute head scratchers. That’s frustrating.
Absolutely. Dusty does put some head scratchers to paper. It's just not a hill worth dying on considering how far ahead they are in the division (in my opinion). A 100 win team still loses 62 games. If it looks a little nonsensical in the process, oh well.
Since Kemp decided to enact his revenge against us last series, could we expect Toro to inflict more pain upon us?
