The pitching staff as a whole except JV seems to be struggling. It's the pitching staff that's been carrying this team for the most part. The offense hasn't been particularly great but good enough when the pitching staff is on. But, the pitching staff struggles and now the offense isn't good enough.

Hilarious, the 3 games we picked up on the Mariners will vanish after today, back to a 10 game lead. And then we will proceed to bash the Mariners in a four-game sweep this weekend.
Every year, there is a stretch (or 2 or 3) where we look good vs the good teams and bad vs the bad ones. Its illogical, its frustrating, its Baseball.
Population of Oakland and SF combined is 1.3 million. Cities are 12 miles apart. No wonder Oakland doesn’t draw fans with a bad team…that is about to sweep the Astros unless the offense miraculously wakes up.
Was it Oakland that used to have those annoying fans who banged on the drums all game long? Whatever happened to those pricks? I guess they are still there. I hear them but barely. It used to be so much louder in prior seasons.
