I think some folks are missing the point here. At least for me, I am not taking a victory lap because monkey pox has been established as a "gay disease" nor am I blaming gays for the disease in the first place. What does bother me, however, is that after 2+ years of being lectured by the CDC and U.S. Gov't about what I should be doing to slow the spread of Covid, many times by way of overreach, these same institutions refuse to tell the homosexual community to refrain from doing their thing to slow the spread. If anybody can help control the spread of this, its the gay community. It's for the greater good, right?
