I don’t care. My job was to point out that this franchise is at its low point overall and nobody really cares… while some here will forever say everything is “fine”.

And thats what you are missing. The Texans are 20 years old, the other teams close to them in valuation are over 50 years old. The Texans are doing the exact thing they are they need to do. Hire a competent GM. Hire a coach that has respect. Trade Watson for the most value. Rebuild the team the right way without looking like you are rebuilding. The Texans will always have interest. Football is king. The fans will comeback if they feel the Texans have a plan. Caserio seems to have one. They will be fine.

Your bullshit knows no limit. You’re literally posting like they’ve master-planned this season. I guess you’re too young/naive to actually have a clue about what’s to come with a team in this situation.

But ladies and gentelmen… if you need a case study in total denial, look no further. Almost as if he’s reciting out of a textbook.

Dude. You are clueless. You act like the Texans are only franchise to go thru something like this. 40+ years of watching sports…teams have been thru much worse and recovered.

None of those had less of a connection to their city than the Texans have had… in a city that worships the NFL.

I’m still laughing reading your last post… you honestly believe some of the stuff you post, which is scary. But again, completely naive.

Connection? You act like this magical connection is a panacea. It is not. It is not. It doesn’t matter. Win and fans jump back on bandwagon.

LOL. Optimism is the BASIS of Sports fandom. But, you keep thinking they will suck forever with the current ownership/leadership. You should really root for the Titans...because that's where ""Luv Ya Blue" history is now.

And there’s your other go to… “go root for somebody else!”

there is optimism and baseless optimism. Your ability to assess this team objectively has been completely exposed.

Its like talking to a teenager. Yet you claim you’ve been watching sports for 40 years? The Texans have had 20 years to build something… yet they
Haven’t. I wish they had… but it’s the truth you fail to admit.

You seem to think teams have to build a culture over many years. LOL. Very few sports franchises are the Patriots, Steelers, Yankees, or Lakers. You think the Buccaneers had this amazing culture? LOL. They changed front office and coaching people like socks until they got a coach and front office people that clicked. Took like 3 years after they found their coach and the only reason it worked because the greatest QB came in last year and attracted other veteran players. Bucks fired their coach 3 years ago and the new guy was in trouble because of underperforming until everything broke their way.
It is not like those teams had some culture of success.
You are clueless about sports today. It is pointless to keep going in circles with you.

Keep believing that the Texans are doomed forever.

Don’t care. Make sure you don’t cheer for them when they turn it around because they haven’t built a decades long culture that fit your ideals.
    Bye.

Texans Karen everybody… apparently the Texans are the pinnacle franchise model out there!

I’m not using words like forever and ever. But it’s been 20 years… plenty of time for everything you presume to happen later to have already happened.

even the Bucs had a previous SB win. That alone generated loyalty that isn’t going to be abandoned by down years. The Texans don’t have that…. Hence until they win big, they will be exponentially behind in all aspects during eras such as this.

I don't see it the Adams family is way too petty to let it happen.

Do you understand that the Texans want NO PART of the Oilers? Also, Bud Adams had it in his Will and in his agreement with the NFL that the Oilers name would be retired.

Do you have a link to that story about the will? Currently the Oilers name and IP belong to Adams's daughter, Amy. She does have the right to sell the IP, but she currently has no plans to.

You can forget about the Oilers name. They aren’t giving that name back to us and I don’t think the McNairs want anything to do with it.

LOL. This again. #1. The Titans, specifically Adams-Shrunk, will never let Houston get the Oilers/Colors back. He Father was CLEAR that he wanted the Oilers' name and color retired and that Houston never get them back (The agreement with the NFL). #2. The Texans have NO INTEREST in the Oilers/Colors. #3. It has been 26 years since the Oilers last played a game in Houston. Probably 40% of the fanbase has NO connection to the Oilers, especially those under 26 years old. They are Texans' fans...and love the logo and colors.

The fantasy of the Oilers' name and colors coming back to Houston is long gone. GET OVER IT.
